This top/upper fireplace can be produce from new or old limestone. The picture displays older stone, which is not available for every size of fireplace. The uppermost part of the top section is intended to match the ceiling height of the corresponding room, therefore it is not recommended for smaller rooms. The fireplace is similar to Fireplace no. 6; the quarter bricks are laid in a herringbone pattern; another way of facing the hearth.
