Habitarte* was founded in 1996 with a showroom in the traditional residencial area of Munich-Nymphenburg.

Georgia Wittmaack and her team provide advice to clients looking to complement or renovate their listed houses with architectural antiques from centuries gone by, as well as those building new homes using historical or artificially aged materials to create a contrasting mixture of styles.

Original objects are obtained from auctions, demolitions and private estates. We take care of export licences, transport and professional reassembly. Build with history by drawing on the classical values embodied by historical materials. Their authenticity and unique charm will give your house or apartment a very personal, individual touch.

Let yourself be inspired by our gallery of architectural antiques and objects, lovingly gathered and assembled from all over Europe.

We would like to invite you to a personal consultation in our showrooms and show how our many years of expeirence can help you to build your dream home...

Vintage -a design focused branch of Habit arte * Nymphenburg, was founded in 2007.

Its speciality is originals from the last century as well as materials and objects expertly aged using modern manufacturing methods based on historic guidelines. By doing so, individual colour and size specifications can be taken into account, and the surface finishing can be influenced.

With our years of experience and detailed understanding of the market, we have worked together with leading European manufacturers to develop diverse products such as aged oak flooring, floorboards, parquet floor panels, limestone flooring, cement tiles, stone and wood fireplaces, wooden inserts and doors. In addition to this we have produced small runs of vintage furniture, lighting and objects for home and garden.

Our materials are not only used in historical architecture, but also installed in modern properties in the public sphere, for renovations and new constructions: for example the fan shop of the Allianz Arena, or a flagship store in Munich city centre's newest shopping centre. Also fashionstores in Germany with branches in Switzerland, Belgium and Sweden.
