Refectory tables are particularly popular large tables. They originate from the 16th, 17th, 18th and 19th centuries, and are manufactured out of walnut or oak. The simple use of shape corresponds to our time and therefore they are very popular for use in eat-in kitchens and dining rooms. They also serve as desks or workbenches.

Tables/ Fauteuils

The refectory is the dining hall of a cloister. The Members of the Order generally eat in silence, and for this reason tables are not very wide, as the monks sat in staggered order, rather than opposite each other.
